Series of exhibitions and events in the Cabinet

The programme for 2004 will concentrate on the anthropological aspect of day to day life. The first exhibition is is entitled “in/aus/nach Salzburg” (“in/out/to Salzburg”) by Initiative Architektur Salzburg and will run in the main exhibition space from February 5th to March 23rd 2004. Its central theme is the development of architecture in Salzburg over the last years.
The Salzburger Kunstverein‘s exhibition programme for 2004 comprises three monographic exhibitions (Ursula Hübner, Michael Raedecker, Cameron Jamie) and a double exhibition (Destiny Deacon / Lisl Ponger) in the main exhibition space. At the end of the year there is the annual presentation of works by the members of the Salzburger Kunstverein. From February 5th to October 3rd the exhibition cabinet will be the setting for a multifaceted exhibition and event project entitled “Televisual Life” . At the same time as the annual exhibition there will be an exhibition in the cabinet space by the winner of the 2003 sponsor prize, David Steinbacher. There are also plans for further cooperation with the Mozarteum University and the International Summer Academy of Fine Arts.
