The Salzburger Kunstverein, founded in 1844, is a private association. In 1884/85 it erected the Künstlerhaus, which has been an important centre for contemporary visual arts in Salzburg ever since, considered one of the most renowned institutions of its kind in Austria.

Since 2017 the Salzburger Kunstverein has been among the institutions whose donations are privileged by § 4a Section 2 Z 5 EStG, the Austrian Income Tax Act. This means that your private donations are tax-deductible. We are grateful for your support!
