Everthing was open: Open house at Künstlerhaus
September 11, 2010, 5 p.m. – 10 p.m.
On Saturday, September 11, 2010, the day would have finally come. After the successful renovation of our building, we would officially celebrate at our open house!
We invited all visitors to tour the building and got a first-hand view of the successful renovations and improvements. The brilliance of the façade, the exterior re-design, the restoration of the entrance facing the Salzach, renovated studios, and the opening of the Ring Gallery on the ground floor was a sight to behold. There you could see the presentation “Centennial Exhibition”. The artists and art groups gold extra, Gunda Gruber, Peter Haas, ohne titel, Hans Pollhammer,
Annelies Senfter, and Severin Weiser took a slightly different, exciting, and creative look at the history of the Salzburger Kunstverein and its building.
Naturally, the Künstlerhaus would be open as well. The visitors took a look behind the scenes and experienced how the artists and different groups in the house perform their work. An extensive event program awaited in addition to this. They were also welcome to take a break on lounge chairs in the re-designed Künstlerhaus garden and enjoy cool drinks and snacks. At
9:30 pm the band “Hemmas Herrn” provided a musical finale followed by a live act and music from DJ eljot.
