The exhibition A/a recodes the publication of the same title through its tactical dismantling and dispersal. A/a presents the ego’s alienation in its relationship to the Other as Mechanism of Meaning by pursuing the course of the diagrammatic. It underscores the pure relationality that exists between objects and signs and creates a visuality of the split, an open coupling of decoupled presentational fragments.

Johannes Porsch, born 1970 in Innsbruck, lives and works in Vienna
