Daria de Beauvais in discussion with Ashley Hans Scheirl

Daria de Beauvais (Senior Curator, Palais de Tokyo, Paris) will speak with Salzburg-born artist Ashley Hans Scheirl on the occasion of her exhibition opening at the Salzburger Kunstverein. This discussion will include some thoughts about the exhibition’s development, the artist’s practice in general, both within the context of contemporary painting today.

Daria de Beauvais is Senior Curator at the Palais de Tokyo (Paris). Previously, her experience has included work with institutions (the Biennale and Peggy Guggenheim Collection in Venice; the Museum of Modern Art and Independent Curators International in New York) and galleries (Zlotowski, Paris; Alessandra Bonomo, Rome; Lili Marleen, New York). She is also a freelance curator (Paris, Rotterdam, and Chicago). She regularly sits on various committees and juries, and writes for a number of magazines and publications. Amongst her recent exhibitions at the Palais de Tokyo: “Laure Prouvost – Ring, Sing and Drink for Trespasing” (2018), “Carte Blanche to Camille Henrot – Days are Dogs” (2017), “Mika Rottenberg” (2016) and “Céleste Boursier-Mougenot – acquaalta” (2015). She is co-curator of the 15th Lyon Biennial in 2019 with Palais de Tokyo’s curatorial team.
