The Salzburg Museum Weekend offers you free entry to most of the museums in the city and state of Salzburg. On Saturday the focus is on museums and galleries in the city, on Sunday special events are taking place in the museums in the countryside. Please find the detailed program here (only in German):

The Salzburger Kunstverein is open on Saturday from 10am-7pm, on Sunday from 12-7pm.
