Cooperation
The motto of the Long Night of Salzburg Museums 2011 in the Künstlerhaus is “Drawing”. Moreover this year the Künstlerhaus opens its studio doors: Take a glance behind the scences of the Künstlerhaus and experience how artists and artistic initiatives at the Künstlerhaus work!
PROGRAM
EXHIBITION Constantin Luser. Schallplan
In september the vienna artist Constantin Luser redesigned the Ring Gallery. Constantin Luser’s protocolary and wall filling drawings are complex systems, which appear as a branched picture cosmos made of words, ciphers, symbols as well as abstract and figurative elements. Furthermore animated cartoons by the artist will be shown.
INITIATIVE ARCHITECTURE
Architecture exhibition LP architecture
Tom Lechner sees his designs as psycho grams and his buildings as spatial analogy of wishes and dreams of the clients. Nine buildings and projects highlight an architect who insists on local identity instead of architecture dominated by turbo-tourism.
SCREENING “Markus Scherer. Substruktur”
Markus Scherer filmed studio scenes with all the tenants in the Künstlerhaus. “Substruktur” shows images of the different ways of living, working, and self-portrayal in the studios which also serve as offices, exhibition and discussion space.
