Centennial Exhibition

Opening: September 11, 2010, 5 p.m.

As part of the 2010 renovation of the Künstlerhaus, the original Ring Gallery on the ground floor was opened up again. The partition walls built over the years were knocked down, making the Ring Gallery freely accessible again. The regained space will be available for exhibitions in the future and shall be fully utilized.

To celebrate the new space in the “Centennial Exhibition,” the artists gold extra, Gunda Gruber, Peter Haas, ohne titel, Hans Pollhammer, Annelies Senfter, and Severin Weiser take a slightly different look at the history of the Salzburger Kunstverein and its building. Through artistic exploration and a creative view of what has happened so far, they revive this new presentation space.
