Ursula Hübner focuses her attention on issues of identity, being and appearing, fragmentation and reassembly of subjects and their relation to objects and their surrounding space. Space is understood as the clothing of the subject’s projection surface, an extension of the body. Ursula Hübner lives and works as a painter and stage designer in Vienna and teaches painting at the Kunstuniversität (Art University) in Linz. She was born in Salzburg and studied, among other things, stage design at the Mozarteum University in Salzburg.
