05.04.–20.05.2001
Exhibition | Main Hall
This project was the first of a discontinuous series in each of which two artists hold a joint exhibition, experimenting in a collaboration flexible in both space and time.
Kai Kuss and Octavian Trauttmansdorff dealt with analysis of and commentary on social situations, focusing on political connotation of exhibition rooms as well as that of architecture and public space in general. Themes such as subversion and destruction played a central role in their work. They examined social arrangements, for instance by spending time with outsiders or fringe groups.
Kai Kuss (*1959, lives in Salzburg) and Octavian Trauttmansdorff (*1965, lives in Vienna) work with photography, video, performance and room installation.
