Luc Tuymans

Luc Tuymans (born in 1958, lives in Antwerpen) conceived his exhibition specifically for Salzburg. It comprised 17 paintings from the years 1979 to 1999 obtained from lenders in Holland, Belgium, Switzerland and Germany.

In the Ring Gallery were 18 film stills from the years 1981-82 on display. Also featured were Polaroids used in conjunction with drawings as preliminary studies for his paintings. Lenders: E + H Bollier, Frances und John Bowes, Broska, de Bruin-Heijn, Zeno X Gallery, Antwerpen u.a.
