Case study: città aperta

Ralf Hoedt and Moira Zoitl were the winners of the 1998 Province of Salzburg Award.

The starting Point of their project was their study of how the city of Rome is represented in the media. The exhibition – which consisted of two videos, photographs and reproductions, film posters and a variety of materials – was an interim report on their research on architecture and urban development in Rome, and its representation in Italian films since the 1940s.
