Exhibition
Marie José Burki (born in 1961, lives in Brussels) produced a new work specially for the exhibition in the Salzburg Kunstverein.
It is a five-part video installation consisting of four video projections and a work on monitor: laughing children, an object falling in slow motion, a larger-than-life man looking for something he never finds, and a parrot doing some stupid tricks are counteracted by a woman on the monitor narrating a fable by LaFontaine, Le loup et l´Agneau, and quoting short newspaper clippings telling of events in which trivial causes have had dreadful effects.
