Protecting your data is important to us. Therefore, we would like to inform you here about the personal data our association processes, and to which purpose.
1. Your Membership in the Association
As a member of our association you enter into a membership contract with us. In order to comply with the fulfilment of the mission of our association, according to our statutes, we will process the following personal data:

In accordance with the statutes of the Salzburger Kunstverein, your data will be shared with the umbrella organization “Salzburger Kulturstätten” (Salzburg Cultural Venues).
Your data will be saved by us for the duration of your membership. In case you terminate your membership, your data will continue to be saved for the legally required period, in order to ensure our compliance with the law (usually 7 years, or in some cases, due to requirements of some public funding bodies, 10 years).
2. Participating in Our Events
As a participant in the events of our association, your personal data will be saved, inasmuch as they are required for the registration or participation in these events.
We hereby also inform you that photographs as well as audio and/or video recordings may be made during our association’s events. These photographs and recordings may be used in various media (print, television, online) and publications (print, online) of our association.
3. Visiting Our Website
The association is responsible for the content and design of the website; it is both media owner and editor. As part of your visit to our website, we will collect the following information:
• The date and time our website was called up,
• Your IP address,
• Name and version of your web browser,
• As well as such information you yourself provide by filling out our contact form or registering for our newsletter.
These data will be processed for the following purposes:
• In order to improve the experience for you,
• In order to improve and develop this website further, and
• To answer your questions.
If you enter personal data on this website, submitting such data also includes the permission for us to use the data for the purposes stated above. Your data will be safely stored and not shared with third parties. The only exception is the sharing with state authorities, should the association be legally obliged to do so.
