Sunset Kino: Storytelling

Founded by Séamus Kealy, Sunset Kino is Austria’s only outdoor, avant-garde film programme. Each Wednesday between 24 July and 21 August, curated screenings commence after sunset. Inspired by Omer Fast’s summer exhibition “Der oylem iz a goylem” at the Salzburger Kunstverein, this year’s theme, Storytelling, amounts to evenings of artist films that traverse the fairytale, the magical, the undead and the real. The curators are Eli Cortiñas, Köken Ergun, Omer Fast, Erika Hock, and Cameron Jamie.

Introduced by the invited curator, screenings are 60 to 90 minutes. Picnic tables and a bar are on-site. People can bring or acquire food from Café Cult. Free entry.
