The Salzburger Kunstverein is searching for a Technical Manager, position commencing February 1, 2014.

Areas of responsibility:
Planning, organization and implementation of exhibition install and takedown, and management of exhibitions during operation (five exhibition cycles per year)
Management and coordination of the technical teams
Organizational and technical support of events (lectures, concerts, etc)
Care and maintenance of technical equipment
Minor maintenance and repair work in the Künsterhaus

You possess:
Strong technical skills
Relevant team management experience
Experience in art handling, shipping, installation and packing
Relevant carpentry, repair and painting experience
Experience with contemporary exhibitions, especially dealing with new media / audio-visual equipment, projectors and electronic art
Experience in working with artists
Working knowledge of PC and Apple computers
High degree of personal responsibility and commitment
Reliability, flexibility and good work ethic
Team spirit and leadership skills
Knowledge of English and good communication skills

Employment Status:
